At Trendy African Braids and Salon, our mission is to offer superior healthy hair care and beauty services designed to meet each client’s needs and complete satisfaction. We have a full staff of technicians and licensed, professional stylists. They are trained to offer the highest level of customer service, consultation, and satisfaction. We offer our clients free one-on-one consultations. Our goal is to help select a style or service that first enhances one’s natural beauty and hair. Our clients’ needs are important and our entire team is committed to helping each achieves his or her personal vision.

Healthy Hair Guarantee and Maintenance

At Trendy African Braids and Salon, healthy hair is a top priority. For clients who are allergic to synthetic hair, we offer human hair extensions. If synthetic hair is critical to achieving the client’s desired style, we offer pre-treated synthetic hair that has been soaked in vinegar to completely remove the hair’s alkaline base. This technique still provides clients with a high-quality, long-lasting hair or African braid style.

The length of wear for each signature hair and African braid style varies. Senegalese twists, Havana twists, kinky twists, and natural styles offer the longest wear time of six to ten weeks. We suggest that clients receiving African braid styles return for a touch-up after four to six weeks, depending on the growth rate of his or her natural hair. Hair moisturizers and sprays such as olive oil, castor oil, and coconut oil are highly recommended to keep one’s braids, hair, and scalp healthy.
